LARK: Set-up Holiday-Administrator Guide

Hi Admin! This will be your guide to configure holidays in your Attendance Admin

There are two types of setting up Holidays in the Attendance App.
 
  1. Work Management > Work Rules
  2. Attendance Settings > Group settings

 

I. Attendance Settings > Group Settings 

✔This step is to recognize the Holiday in the Attendance Calendar
 

A. Go to Lark Admin

  • Go to Lark Admin by clicking the Profile Picture on the left corner of the the Lark Desktop app and then select Administration.
 
  • From the left corner of the Lark Admin page look for Workplace and select App Management
Find the Attendance app and tap Configure.
  •  Then just select Go to Admin console and it will be routed Attendance Admin

 

 

B. Attendance Settings

 
  • From the left corner of the page, look for the Attendance settings and click the drop-down button and then select Group Settings.
NOTE: In Group Setting you will see different Attendance groups so you need to do the process of setting- up holiday in each attendance group.
  • Select one of the Attendance group and click edit
  • Find the Shift page and click "Add a no-attendance-required date"
  • Then pop up box will appear where you can add the Holiday date then just click Confirm.
 
Note: Set-up the National Regular Holidays by adding each of the Holiday date per Calendar Year and you can also add the specific holidays in your city.
Guide for the National Regular Holidays in the Philippines( EXAMPLE)
  • New Year’s Day-January 1
  • Maundy Thursday - no fixed date
  • Good Friday _ no fixed date
  • Araw ng Kagitingan -April 9
  • Labor Day - May 1
  • Independence Day -June 12
  • National Heroes’ Day -August 30
  • Bonifacio Day -November 30
  • Christmas Day - December 25
  • Rizal Day - December 30
 
*Note:There are Regular Holidays that have no fixed date and it varies per calendar year such as Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, Eid'l Fitr, Eid al-Adha (Feast of the Sacrifice). You just need to add the holiday date ahead of time for it to be recognized.

II. Work Management > Work Rules


✔ This step of setting-up holidays is to recognize the overtime work of the employee who works during Holiday.
 
  • After setting-up holidays in Group Settings, in attendance admin look for Work Management. Click the drop-down button and select the Work Rules
 
  • In the Work rules page, you will see the overtime policy for Holiday . Just click the Edit icon to edit the overtime rule.
 
  • Click Holiday and then tap +Add a Holiday
  • Then a pop up box appear where you can add/set the holiday by selecting the date and name it. To add more box just click the "+" icon.
